Our Model

TRSF provides its services through The Rising Start Program (elmentary, middle, high school and young adults) Each of these programs offer classes, workshops, and "labs" from six specially designed curricula: Academic Studies; Life & Social Skills, Computer & Graphic Arts, Workforce & Entrepreneurship Development, Music & Arts, Community Readiness and Music and Arts Studies. A critical component contributing to the successful outcomes for our students and young adults in the various Rising Start programs is the systematic application of evidenced based, behavioral interventions (ABA) in each of our academic and work readiness programs led by our BCBA & Florida Certified Teacher Clinical Director, and Master & Bachelor degreed instructional staff and therapists.

Customized Studies Curricula

Each of our TRS Customized Studies Curricula is composed of various courses, workshops, labs, and topics specially designed to meet the academic and/or workforce readiness needs of our students and young adults. The TRS team will work with each parent, student, and young adult to design their educational, career and workplace readiness goals.

Flexible “Pods” + Individualized Instruction

Each of our students/young adults is assigned to a “leveled pod” following detailed assessments performed by our teaching team. Each pod is comprised of 6-8 students based on their general learning needs level. However, depending on the subject matter and proficiency levels, students will rotate among the pods as needed.

Core Programs

Our Core Programs are designed to address the dissatisfaction and frustrations our students and their families have experienced in a traditional public/private school classroom and homeschool settings. They are designed to serve as an integrated systematic journey from kindergarten through young adulthood. At whatever grade/level you join us you can be assured of a “visible runway” towards getting the academic, social/life skills and workforce readiness support your child/young adult deserves.
