A unique set of talks and social events for teens/young adults and their parents/guardians celebrating the month of friendship and love - February.
Our first two sessions on February 20th are designed to introduce parents and guardians to the topics and activities their teens and young adults will be discussing and experiencing during the series. A separate session will be held next door for the teens/young adults to meet each other and the Love On The Spectrum Team organizing the series. Attendance to these two first sessions will be required for both teens/young adults and parents/guardians in order to attend the remaining sessions and events in the series.
February 23 & 27 will have both teen/young adult sessions and separate parent sessions covering the topics more fully described in the Agenda. On Friday March 1, we will host two social events, one for teens 15-17 and a second for young adults 18-23. There will be music, and fun activities, including activities or quieter spaces for those not yet totally ready to fully engage or "share their space" with others. Parents/Guardians and/or teens/young adults will be asked to sign consent and waiver of liablity forms after they register.
Registration will be simple. One ticket gets each participant into each event and everything is free!. Remember pariticipation in the February 20th events is required to be able to pariticpate in all other talks and events during the series.
