Just Have Fun

At the end of the day our Music Program is all about fun! Fun singing your favorite song out loud. Fun learning how to play a new instrument. Fun playing with others in a band. Fun performing for an audience. All the while each of our students are improving their fine and gross motor skills, their cognitive function, their auditory function and social skills. We would say that’s a “Win, Win”

Play It.

Music lessons are important, but actually playing music and playing in a band is what it’s all about at The Rising Start. Weekly band practice provides our students the opportunity to work together, keeping tempo, coordinating their play and the importance of listening to each other. Then we go out into our community and show them what we’ve got! The Sense of accomplishmenet, confidence and smiles on our student’s faces when they hear that applause is priceless!
